Hongkong Post to adjust Mail Delivery Services

Hongkong Post will adjust its mail delivery services with effect from 16 May 2022 (Monday). While a full range of mail delivery services currently provided on Monday to Friday will be maintained, only express delivery viz. Speedpost and Local CourierPost service will be available on Saturday. The post office counter services and other postal services, which include pick-up service of Speedpost and Local CourierPost items, street posting boxes and iPostal Stations collection will remain unchanged.

The adjusted postal services arrangements are as follows:

Hongkong Post has been actively expanding its network of self-service posting and collection facilities in recent years, and more than 140 iPostal Station self-collection facilities have been set up in various districts. With the convenient self-collection service at iPostal Stations/ Post Offices, the addressees can collect their mail items (including Local CourierPost, ordinary packet, EC-GET, Speedpost, e-Express, and parcel) at the location of their choice. For urgent mail items that has to be delivered on Saturday, you may consider our Local CourierPost Service. You may wish to adjust your posting schedule and post early to meet your business needs.
